Privacy

No email, no password, no ads, no visitor statistics. Datapit keeps your GPRO token (encrypted) and the game data it downloads for you: it uses them to show them to you and, in anonymous form, to improve everyone's calculations (see “Anonymous copy of the races”).

• Account: your manager number (IDM), name and group, as GPRO gives them. The email GPRO knows is not saved.
• GPRO token: encrypted (AES-GCM) with a key that lives only on the server. It is used to read your game data with the official API; it is never shown or written to any log.
• Game data: what Datapit downloads from GPRO when you ask (driver, car, races, finances, standings) and the plans you write here, plus the log of the calls made to GPRO (time and reason, never the token).
• Anonymous copy of the races: for every finished race Datapit also keeps a copy with only what the calculations need (track, weather, car and driver characteristics, setup used, consumption, wear, stops and laps), without your name, your manager number, money or data of other players; it carries only a code that cannot be read and serves to avoid counting the same race twice. The copies of all managers are used together to improve the calibrations and estimates for everyone. Yours is deleted if you delete the account.
• Reports: if you write one (Report page), the text, the page you wrote from, the language, your name and manager number and the reply are kept. Only whoever runs Datapit reads them; they disappear if you delete your account.
• Cookies: just one, technical, to keep you signed in (30 days). Your browser also remembers the language and the closed menu groups, only on your device.
• Server log: IP address, time and page of every request, for security and troubleshooting; deleted after 7 days.

• The data are stored on a server of Aruba Cloud (Italia).
• The pages load fonts from Google Fonts and flags from flagcdn.com: your browser asks them directly, and they see your IP address.
• Datapit does not sell or pass your data to anyone, and is not affiliated with GPRO.
• After a race Datapit may write a calculation note by itself (for example a rain rule that was disproved, or a calibration outside its interval). The note can also be read by whoever runs the site, to correct the calculations; it is deleted together with your account.

• On the Account page you can download all your data as a zip file and delete your account: the folder with your data is removed from the server at once, the backup copies within 14 days.
• You can also revoke access at any time from the game by regenerating the token (Miscellaneous > API access): the one saved here stops working.
